I wanted to thank you for this video, I've learned A LOT from it, and I'm still discovering stuff. Maybe you already knew but you can get more points from two things : if you keep C tapping from 3:08 onwards, you can keep the counter for a massive score boost (but it's much harder of course, and you have to make sure you kill the big bug and the bomb carrier seperately), and you can also counterbank the boss part that appears at 3:27 (for not so many points).

Those dodges at the TLB's final pattern were just.... beyond words. Well done!

I hit a wall with these games, but even earlier than the bullet hell era. Even in Aero Fighters, where I spent many coins at the time and replayed many times in different emulation (i had it on my psp then on vita) there are shots from the bosses that ALWAYS find me. The way you know exactly where to place the ship at any moment is something absolutely out of my abilities, and I am fascinated

I'm trying to learn this game for an upcoming Mexican marathon and watched your run, I have a few questions if you could assist. There is a section in the rules that says "Difficulty to Novice (lowest of the difficulty) for Original/Maniac/Ultra is allowed" Does that mean that I can set difficulty to 1 in the game config and still select Ultra and still have a valid run? Does the game change much? Also, the Shmup discord link in the video is invalid, would you happen to have a valid link?

With artwork by Shuzilow Ha of Twinbee fame, this game is not only incredibly beautiful (and long for an arcade game), but it has excellent music, a Konami trademark. Shamefully never saw a home port, but maybe with the Arcade Archives, at some point it finally comes home to consoles.

This is also under the Level 8 Hardest Difficulty. From the Stage 2, this scene we can tell, 4:44, there's a golden armored knight(1Boss) here, which means this is under the Hardest Difficulty. If the game's difficulty is set as Normal, that Golden Knight won't appear in here. Great Playthrough!
